Re: Things that make you laugh
Haven't lived? Spent 6 weeks living in a car driving around the UK, I know the standards of radio round those parts and know that 99% of it is better than big Bob and the dynamic duo...

Yeh there is some good stuff here...but my local station is Moray Firth Radio and believe me it really is terrible. Only people I've met who listen are taxi drivers (every taxi has it on) and mates, if we've had bad rain or snow for the road reports and local authority flooding announcements etc.
Now I'm getting into the 'grumpy old...' catagory I probably listen to Bob and the Abbot and Costello because I like shouting at the computer when they get me angry haha. For some reason Bob gets me much more angry since he got back from his accident...no idea why
I usually enjoy your after midnight guys though.

This story from the BBC news site...looking at him I'm surprised he owns a lawn mower

US man charged for shooting mower

Witnesses told police Mr Walendowski appeared to have been drinking
A 56-year-old man from the Midwestern US state of Wisconsin has been arrested after shooting his lawn mower in his garden because it would not start.
Keith Walendowski was charged by police in Milwaukee with disorderly conduct and possession of a sawn-off shotgun.
He could face a fine of up to $11,000 and a maximum prison sentence of six-and-a-half years if convicted.
Police officers said Mr Walendowski had told them: "It's my lawn mower and my yard, so I can shoot it if I want."
Police found the shotgun, a handgun and a stungun, as well as ammunition, when they detained Mr Walendowski in the basement of his house.
Witnesses told police that he appeared to have been drinking.
The lawn mower was found sitting outside Mr Walendowski's house, which he shares with his mother, with the rubbish on Friday.
A local retailer said that Mr Walendowski might now have difficulty getting his lawn mower repaired.
"Anything not factory recommended would void the warranty," said Dick Wagner, of Wagner's Garden Mart in Milwaukee.

Funniest Home Video's. Turn the sound down, it's funnier. I love watching people hurt themselves!

A pregnancy check would be more appropriate. If you pass the test then you qualify for a new plasma screen on nine months interest free terms...

Re: Things that make you laugh
Having put in a long day looking after kids etc, I climb onto the couch with a nice glass of Coopers' Stout.
The glass is the sort with a handle; holds a bit less than a full stubby of beer. I've had it for years. Was given to me as a gift from a sister who once worked at the ill-fated LoneStar steakhouse; it was marked with a LoneStar logo.
I take a couple of sips, and sit there reclining in the sofa..... when without warning the arse falls off the glass. My lap is promptly filled with Coopers' Stout, which proceeds to ooze into my cods and also into the upholstery.
Sorry Pseudo...

Re: Things that make you laugh
Looking back and remembering how uncomfortable I was when having 'that talk' with my old man.
After having 'that talk' with smac jr last night, I now understand that I had it easy back then.
