Yes he did, it was in the first final of the World Series Cup in 1992-93

Deano came in at 1-41 chasing 247. He asks Ambrose to take off his sweatbands Ambrose then goes ballistic and we’re all out 160 runs later Ambrose takes 4 wickets gets five for the match.

Next final we get rolled. Ambrose takes 4 wickets, West Indies win the trophy

Next test in Adelaide we’re 1-0 up in the Frank Worrell trophy as AB and Richie R toss the coin, Ambrose takes 10 wickets we lose by one run and he get MOTM

Off to Perth next, he takes nine wickets for **** all we lose by an innings and there goes Frank he gets MOTM and MOTS

In three weeks 4 games he basically takes 26 wickets st under 10.

Within a year Deano plays his last game for Australia….

So yeah it’s reallllll smart to sledge good players!!!

Umm, Australia are leading the test series and were the highest ranked team in the triseries up to that point.

Yes for the previous six series post WSC the Windies dominated but that was the turning point of the summer. 26 wickets at under 10 in 16 days is a fair effort

Watching the Uzi dismissal again, why was he jumping to a ball that was pitched up?

Cos he has a terrible technique. Cant remember him ever playing forward . Plays everything off the back foot whether ball is full or short.
Looks terrible every time he snicks off with lack of feet movement.

As for Konstas
As others have said, results will speak for themselves i guess. .
We mock the Poms for playing Bazzball and ridicule them when it doesn't come off.
Just cant see his current style being sustainable tho cant be judged fully on such a small sample size.
Don't like the way he enters the field with his partner to bat and then immediately runs out to the centre leaving his partner behind.
It's as if he's abandoning him and reeks of "It's all about me".
Even if he was South Australian i think i'd struggle to warm to him the way he's carrying on.

on a side note i dont think i can recall a Summer in Australia so tough for batting.
All 5 pitches played on so far have been favourable for pace bowlers generally throughout the matches.
Spinners have hardly got a look in.
Been a few great tons against the odds but generally the batters from both sides are bruised, battered and devoid of confidence with some falling by the wayside and career ending as well probably? (Rohit, Khawaja, Marsh) . McSweeney should get another chance. Kholi has been exposed and the end is near.
