Is this still on tv. The guide has coverage of the Queen on Sunday afternoon on 7

dunno bout anyone else but ive had enough of the queen coverage

Admittedly it is only once in 70 years though - we even have to put up with Glenelg (and South?) premierships more frequently than that

Even Central finals appearances happen slightly more regularly than Queen deaths

On behalf of the greater SANFL support base, I thank Norwood for ensuring that next week's Grand Final will be both meaningful and watchable.

On the other hand a 15K GF crowd with NA & the Crows on a wet and windy day might have achieved more for the cause…

the sanfl would have just handed out thousands of freebies hoping to get a decent crowd

That happens every year regardless of who's playing doesn't it? My understanding is every local/amateur footy club is sent some to distribute to whoever wants them.
