Yeah I usually do that on a live bet too. Too frustrating to keep following the pricesSheik Yerbouti wrote:Shit $3.20, I went the $2.50 & then (of course) Geelong kick another, I refused to check the live bets after that.

Missed a SGM when Stewart only had 19 possessions instead of 20. Needed him to take that last kick in

The fact my phone doesn't have a breathalyzer on it. Apparently I booked tickets to the NRL prelim and GF last night!

Teaching my son to drive, one car goes straight through a give way sign and me pulling the handbrake stops a t-bone then someone turns left straight into his path (cars were parked against the left curb). Another slam on the brakes. People need to be more vigilant

Going around roundabouts and I'm telling my daughter to hover over the brake pedal, not the accelerator and she's telling my she is GRRRRR, don't argue love, just listen.
She gets amazingly close to the cars parked on the side of the road too, scares the bag out of me.
On the flip side, I do love the time we're spending together, I picked her up from work at Mawson Lakes yesterday at 10:30am, drove to Prospect, Outer Harbour, Harbour Town, Marion, to Gawler then finished up at Para Hills, squeezed lunch in there too, she is my best friend.

The Advertiser today reporting police getting a pay rise, so now a superintendent gets $160k.
A rookie/1st or 2nd year AFL player probably makes the same money.
Something seriously out of whack when this has been allowed to happen!!

Couriers who sign their own name for 'proof of delivery'.

Not condoning it (unless you have an agreement in place with your regular driver) but a lot of drivers do it.Spangas wrote:Couriers who sign their own name for 'proof of delivery'.

I remember delivering a pallet of something to Electrolux or Kelvinator (one in Dudley Park), I pulled up, unstrapped and then stood there like a stale bottle of piss waiting for some assistance, they were pretty bloody quick to notice my existence when I jumped on the nearest forklift and unloaded myself though.

Re: Things that give you the sh1ts
A minor matter but suffered poor customer service last night. Ordered a pizza online from Dominos at 9:05pm, expected time of delivery 9:31pm. Phoned the store at 10:15pm to see what the delay was; was told that the pizza was just entering the oven and would be delivered around 11:00pm (90 minutes late, two hours after ordering!). No apology, just a simple statement of fact. Apparently they were one driver down, it would have been nice for them to have phoned at some point to let me know the pizza was going to be 90 minutes late. I immediately cancelled, saying I would be in bed by then.
