Peter Motley Oval. Reserves - 11.00am League - 1.40pm
What a massive weekend with 1st playing 3rd and 2nd playing 4th! Now we should get to see 'Who's up who, and who's paying the rent .' Just when Sturt have lost key forwards with 'hammies', Norwood could get quite a few players back, including a couple of handy forwards. From the SANFL injuries site:
Norwood Surman, Luke Elbow Test Phillips, Simon Ankle Test Jefferies, Ben Knee Test Pascoe, Lachlan Knee Test
I'm sure Sturt have the depth to cover missing players, but either way, there should be no excuses for the 'Leggy Boys'. Big game! Can't wait! Luv, Sabre.

... and only half a game seperating 3rd from top, then a further game to fourth without percentage being a factor.
There's a lot riding on this weekend.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail 1915, 1919, 1926, 1932, 1940, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1974, 1976, 2002, 2016, 2017
We have played well at times but need a bit more composure infront of the sticks. A couple of times Sturt have looked like they could turn it on and power away
Shame the umps have started having an impact on a good physical game .. 2 of Sturts last 3 goals from frees, that one ridiculously soft and inconsistent

We need to run out quarters betters though. Too many late goals conceded

We did in the 2nd .. Sturt played the last 10 minutes like the dual reigning premier they are, flag faves for mine
