Well done to West they deserved the win and a great gesture by them to
form a guard of honour for Trent Goodrem.As for us we were an ABSOLUTE
DISGRACE and that was a PATHETIC effort .

Two well deserved premiership points to West, would have taken a fair bit of self belief after last week - and the guard of honour was a fine gesture.

For us, Murray Stephenson again effective in defence. Darcy, Hosko, Goody (in his 200th) also among our better players. Special mention to Haydon for his gutsy effort in the right forward pocket in the last quarter.

Considering the strong cross factor going with the breeze in the third, two very nicely weighted kicks from West's Green and Nobel cut the margin from 22 to 10 early in the third. A string of behinds to West got them to within two points before a goal to Keogh from a set shot on the 3/4 time siren put them up, and that's where they stayed scoring the only goal of the last quarter.

Centrals, a goal-less last half - scoreboard flattered us. The margin could have easily been three or four goals more.
