Junior footy yesterday, we played a team that had dropped down a division and started dominating ever since, we stuck with them for a quarter and were then well beaten but never gave up all day, their Team Manager post game says "thanks for a good game, until 1/4 time"

Junior sport is the worst.
My daughters U11 soccer team won 4-2 after trailing 0-2 at the half. Their coach was going off on his girls. Not even supposed to keep score...sad.

It's rife and has been for a while, it takes a bit for me to get going but two opposition parents on the weekend got the better of me at different times, they just turned all their attention to abusing the umpires........................and they were leading.

We lost and I still went out post game to take my sons bag to him and told the umpires they did a great job, it means a lot more when parents/coaches etc. let them know as generally if teams lose by less than 3 goals it was the umpires fault in many eyes.

I cant help myself when I'm watching my boys umpire and parents have a crack at them, I remind them that they are minor's and doing their absolute best, 95% of parents and coaches are excellent, its always the minority that usually sit away from the normal crowd.

There's one well known coach around the traps that I've umpired a fair few times at varying levels, when they win I'm the best umpire getting around and he'll buy me a beer midway through is, they lose and he barely talks to me, never mentions any games if I see him out and a bout and we have a chat.

She's a toucher and has a dirrty mind, we had a work function Friday night and she scared me, I had to make a quick "exit, stage left".

The discussion at the Royal tonight when half of the regulars thought the fans went clockwise and the other half went anti-clockwise .
The discussion went on for an hour an even involved the publican stopping and starting the fans at one stage.
I think I was the only one that could see it going both ways depending on the perspective you were looking at.

Yeah, you actually have to manually flick a switch on the fan to make it turn the other way though. SOmeone hasn't done their job properly
