After the game its said a statement is going to be made at selection, but when we actually get to selection none of the soft, effortless squibs get dropped. Perhaps others on the selection committee have hard ons for the "senior players". We're 1-7 ffs, season is shot, win-loss count doesn't matter. I'd rather lose and play young players of the future, than lose and play a bunch of old hasbeens.

Craig asked what the Crows side would look like without those players, well....The Crows are getting smashed now with them, what does it matter if we get smashed without. 1-7

His form has been disgraceful all season. A fit Porplyzia is one of the first players I pick, sadly his form and fitness is nowhere near his best.

How is the form of Sloane and Young? Enough to genuinely warrant selection?

Young's been great since returning to Norwood, barely conceded a goal in the past month. Sloane perhaps was a bit of a stretch, only played 1 back since injury, so perhaps give Reilly one last chance.

But NFC - you've said yourself it's not about commitment or dedication, it's all about the form.

and NFC as for Porplyzia being Dropped , his form has been on the up and he is slowly getting to his best. he has 10 goals from his last 4 games. and thats all you can ask of a small Forward. if he gets you 2 to 3 goals a game he has done a job.

Armstrong also coughs it up a fair bit. Would have thought its better not to hurl him to the wolves too early, when the team is under as much pressure as this, and let him ease into it. If he is given that chance to ease into it a bit more, he should become an even better player for it.

Commitment? After the North game there are a few senior players that have no right to punish others for their commitment. Johncock for instance, who cares if he missed some bs rehab season on a weekend. He has been our best player this year, he won the Richmond game off his own boot.
