With their finals aspirations at stake you'd have expected the reigning premiers to take advantage of a hugely depleted St Kilda lineup down in Tassie.

Geelong
The Cats looked like yesterdays men on Friday night losing their first match to the Blues since 2004. The turnovers and lack of run was most alarming as the wheels well and truly fell off. Bomber Thompson called this match an 'unGeelong like performance' but I reckon he hasn't been watching for the last five weeks.
Western Bulldogs
The Bullies have become the Eagles first roadkill in 19 matches after at one stage having the rather embarrassing score of 0.10 to their name. To have their pants pulled down by the Eagles kids three weeks out from the finals must be causing Rodney Eade to lose his hair..oh wait, too late!
Hawthorn
People have quite rightly praised the Saints for their efforts in Tassie but the Hawks sucked hard against a side that had more holes in it than Royal Adelaide. The Hawks didn't ever look like it in a match where they had reportedly been prepared to 'make a statement'. I reckon Clarko might have cashed in on the Sainters.
Port Power
Why oh why didn't we listen to NO MERCY? The Power deserve a special mention losing at Subi twice this year. Imagine losing to the primary school boys in their most important match of the year? Ladies and gentlemen I believe we have a winner.
regards,
REB
