Absolute dirty scum bag of a player. Has no skills, is in the competition because of his thuggery. The sooner someone takes him out the better.

Im not sure if he did anything specific today to upset you mate, but I reckon he plays tough and hard, and to instruction.

He copped a beautiful, solid bump from Hodge today, so he doesnt always win them but wears them too ... I like the way Tommy plays, but will be the first to admit Im very biased by his SANFL allegiance.

I'm biased by his SANFL allegiance too but I still cannot stand him as a player. He happens to play in arguably the softest team in the league and for that reason he gets a game, if he was on any other clubs list I doubt he'd get a regular game.

The bump on Ellis today? The punch on someone who I can't quite remember, hopefully it's looked at, the wrestle where he had no reason to be involved but he came from nowhere just to insert his authority. Average skills, average pace, just in the side because of his dirty tactics.

Hodge's bump was a thing of beauty, it was actually in the contest unlike most of Thomas' hits. One day he'll get what's coming to him.

Fair enough mate .. I reckon he's lacking in fitness and match practice, so he would certainly have been selected today to play an "enforcer" type role.

I didn't think the hit on Ellis was anything but hard footy, only saw it once though so might be wrong.

I also don't think he's without skills, but yeah they're certainly not the most polished in the competition, so he'll always rely on his hard edge, which is good, I find it one of the most enjoyable aspects of footy personally.

Ellis was pretty much just standing the mark, aren't you allowed to do that these days without expecting to be cleaned up? It was identical to the Dawson hit on Symes and he got 2 weeks.

Yeah dirty mongrel, if only he'd do the soft things like elbow a full back in the jaw as per Bickley and Wakelin.

This thread is actually laughable.

I guess I just think Tommy plays unsociable footy, not a lot different to the Hawks last year ... Sometimes that can lead to crossing the line, but Ive never seen him belt anyone.

I have a few mates who follow the Crows who can't stand him because of the Hentschel and Bassett incidences, both of which I thought were unfortunate but not acts of thuggery (although I'll admit I seem to be in the minority there)

The Hentschel one was an accident, Bassett also but really didn't require that much force IMO.

So was Hodgy's hit on the scum, enjoyed it immensely. One day he'll get what's coming. 8)

So every clash on a footy field (one's where there no suspension) deserves a thread. Hmm..

Nope, just a player who gets by on thuggery alone and in time will be exposed for the cheapshot artist he is.

If that is the incident i'm thinking of, Didn't the umpire call play on and Thomas applied a legal shephard, Whats wrong with that?

Umpire was very close to blowing his whistle, you could see him thinking about it.

Symes wasn't rewarded a free kick either, yet Dawson got 2 weeks. That was legal too? :?

Maybe you need to watch the game a bit closer. Thomas plays tough and hard. "Thuggery" implies he goes around handing out cheap shots and behind the play incidents...Wrong. He gives out the hard stuff, and takes it and plays the game in a fair manner. Get over your crows season ticket holder bias and boooo people for a genuine reason.

I've seen him play for 4 years, for Norwood and Port, he gives many cheap shots.

He's like Josh Carr, he's got a great rep too doesn't he?

Surjan, Lower are guys who play hard but fair, Thomas is a thug.
