You have supported the Panthers for many years, and I think you should stay with them. When your team are in the doldrums, you have to give them more support. The wheel will turn.

Just to expand on this topic a little....
Did anyone find it hard to jump off their original VFL side they followed to go for the Crows or Port.
I was never interested in either and stuck with Carlton. Saw it as breaking my loyalty to them if I changed for the sake of parochialism.
Always follow SA in state games though so that covers my loyalty to the state and also would always choose Sturt over Carlton i it really came down to it.
Might start a thread on the AFL board.
Btw, stik with the Panthers Chuck. Never saw a Sturt flag in my life until 02. Was worth the wait mate.

Opting for another team will just eat at you over time and will never truly feel like "home".
Following your footy team is like a successful marriage, "for better or worse, in sickness and in health" - Divorce is messy mate.

I love south and it wouldn't feel right supporting another club just because they're winning. Where's the fun in that?
The day I see us win a flag will rate as one of the best in my life. Even if it means waiting another 10/20/50/etc years.
Go South!
