I would say Stewart and Kirkby are to cover the loss of Centrals Daniel Havelberg while Ryan Ferguson's continued good form has no doubt forced selectors to add him to the squad. They may now look to use Damon White in forward role and have Ferguson cover White at CHB. I think both Stewart and Kirkby are in good form but both may be fighting for the same spot as the 2nd or 3rd tall forward.
Like Danny Meyer from Glenelg, North Adelaide's Daniel Stewart is eligable to be in the squad as they are only rookie listed AFL players, both of course with Port Power, while West Adelaide aligned Chris Schmidt is also in the squad and is a Crows rookie. I'm sure there will be a few dissapointed Eagles fans that Ken McGregor was again overlooked to be added to the squad.

Based on the form of ruckman from games played last weekend, for the second consecutive year, the Bays Trevor Cranston is the unlucky one IMO. Watched the North v Glenelg last night and Trev was clearly the best big man on the ground.
For me, Parry isn't in the greatest of form of his career at present (as admitted by his coach and State Assistant Clay Sampson) while Dabrowski hasn't been setting the world on fire from what I've seen, read and heard. I think James Miekeljohn (Port) and Cranston (Glenelg) would make a great combination to take on the Snadgropers.

the lads looked good
skills were quite good, bit of chatter - no signs of animosity
very confident that a captain has already been named
we will smash WA
