I agree with you on that. He bothered us early finding plenty of space to run into. Kicked his first goal in league footy too if I recall..

Crane is a loss don't know about the others you mentioned. The difference is the eagles have a lot of players that are of the same level that aren't a grade standard but good b graders so we can't cover the loss of shirley powell salter passador treeby mckenzie

A little warning for those in blue ahead of our next battlle against each other though and that is you did only beat an Eagles side at 2/3 of it's best. We had at minimum 7 of our best 21 missing from todays game.

EHL, I don't really know what you're on about with the "supporters behind the Nthn goals" bit, I was there and I didn't see anything that stood out as getting cocky, I heard alot of Blues supporters that were very vocal in the last 1/4 but that was because there were a fair few of us...someting that your guys might not get to experience from your own lot very often.
Apart from the outs mentioned previously for both teams, Sturt also lost Jaensch early in the game to a corky, so stop pissing on! You fielded a team and it came nowhere close!

Take 7 of any teams best 21 out mate incl Centrals the competitions benchmark and you are bound to struggle. I'm a little surprised Sturt didn't win by more.

McLeay is one of the best backmen in the comp, Payne is the best recruit we have got for this year, he's from Zilmere in Qld a mate of Luke Crane and Ben Nelson is some hack that has played Afl for Carlton & Adelaide, some 200 games for Sturt, a Premiership medal, comes from sublime bloodstock and a runner up in the Magarey Medal, (although I may be wrong with that, maybe he came 3rd).

I'm a little surprised that the Eagles players didn't chase, tackle, run and want the fooball...a soft performance AT HOME compared to what I expected, regardless of ins and outs.

McKenzie, Treeby, Powell, Cicolella, Passador, Salter & Shirley. I understand Shirley & Salter are AFL listed but both will play the majority of the season with the Eagles.

Add R.Fiacchi to that list as well.

You cant read can you?

Shirley has played more for the Crows than the Eagles over the past few years hasnt he? Why was he out today?

Where did Cicca play today? How can a club claim he is in their best team yet refuse to pick him?

So your down to 4 players out, boo hoo....I think you will find most clubs will have 3-4 out every week from their best line up

There's no accounting for Fuller's stupidity I realise this but he has been one of the best players in the Eagles history - normally a starting 21 player.

Dutchy you can't go by on previous years you can only by current season and the facts remain that Shirley and Salter will both play more SANFL than AFL this season

Imagine how much the Bays would have beaten North by today if they had Josh Carr, Tom Logan, Travis Boak and Richard Douglas!

C'mon, you have to back the 21 that cross the line on the day ...
