mate i was playing u17's when the clubs merged so i had no say in the matter the only thing i had to say was that im wasnt playing with the ferels of goolwa, so i went to the sfl and found that i enjoyed playing in the gsfl better so the closest club to me was the mighty dee's , Goolwa had no intrest of having support from elliot in the first place but we all know without elliot there wouldnt be a goolwa footy club ether, it had the support of two towns but the club is run by ppl that only see black and white that didnt want anything to do with elliot and sopncers are not gonna get back on board if the club doesnt reconize them.

Is it fair to say that Feast might be a risk, being a 4 point player thats only available for 8 games? You either drop a 'points' player when he plays or you play ten games not utilisng maximum points. Interesting scenario

Mcmanis, you are getting carried away so close to Christmas about an issue that is not even relevant. If you were playing U17's for Port Elliot at the time of the merger I am tipping that you have had absolutely 'no' impact at Willunga, because there was very little talent in that side. In fact we finished 2nd to bottom and flogged you by 15 goals. Initially Kevin Whealan (as he stated at the 08 AGM), was the only Port Elliot official to show interest in the club. Now that we have had another change, the Port Elliot people need to show more committment as Goolwa has preserved their history by including the name in the club title. The current committee also needs to spend more time promoting the club in Port Elliot. It's an old issue, no more discussion, case closed!!!
On a lighter note Simon Feast was not cheap!
