Now from what I know, and I am only too glad to be corrected, Ben Cousins was never caught doing anything other than falling over pi$$ed in Melbourne. Cripes - we are probably all guilty of having done that.
He has never tested positive to any drugs and the Perth police arrest was an absolute farce.
In fact, he voluntarily fessed up and has been hung out to dry by the AFL. IMHO, the Pollack ploy should never have been an option. The AFL should have given an incentive for any club to pick him up to show that they would support his honesty and intent to rehabilitate. It would have been a travesty if he had not been given another go.
The only disgrace is the Advertiser for its continuous crappy journalism

And yet you openly misspell "Polak".*
*This post is in no way defending The Advertiser or its crappy journalism

Those two sentences you clearly imply he is as innocent as little red riding hood.
You are saying he hasn't been PROVEN guilty. Meaning he is INNOCENT.
Legally he is innocent. But that aside, he's as guilty as any other drug user out there. That is why he is disgraced.
I'm all for Cousins playing. Love watching him play (other than against the Crows).
But you clearly think he hasn't done anything wrong.
He clearly has, otherwise, what has he got to fess up for?
Just annoys me how people want to piss in your ear about innocent before proven guilty.
Let him pull on the boots by all means but don't dress him up as Mr Sheen.
