I would debate that!

Best and only asset up front? Maybe with the Lions but not Pamela.

You have to admire Eddie McGuire. He knows his position on not having an alternate strip is ridiculous. Because it is so ridiculous he knows the slightest falter in his obstinance on the issue will lead to the AFL running all over him and making them get a new jumper. It must be quite an effort to remain so pig-headed for so long.

Nope, still haven't seen any criticism of the other clubs for not wanting the Cousins/Pollack situation to develop.

All jokes aside, last week The Advertiser referred to Ben Cousins as the "disgraced Ben Cousins."

Now from what I know, and I am only too glad to be corrected, Ben Cousins was never caught doing anything other than falling over pi$$ed in Melbourne. Cripes - we are probably all guilty of having done that.

He has never tested positive to any drugs and the Perth police arrest was an absolute farce.

In fact, he voluntarily fessed up and has been hung out to dry by the AFL. IMHO, the Pollack ploy should never have been an option. The AFL should have given an incentive for any club to pick him up to show that they would support his honesty and intent to rehabilitate. It would have been a travesty if he had not been given another go.

The only disgrace is the Advertiser for its continuous crappy journalism

Miles off topic, but Cousins rocked up to be tested without a hair on his body.

What does that say to you?

He does himself no favours by associating with the biggest drug lords in the country and underworld figures.

You would have to be effing blind to think Cousins is innocent and clean. He was just smart enough not to be caught.

All you dimwits who profess to his innocence are F'd in the H.

Great player. Deserves another crack.

Don't preach your "innocent" bullshit to me.

You hang with drug lords, expect to be investigated. Expect to be dragged into the limelight.

He has clearly been addicted to illegal, illicit drugs, that's why he's been in rehab.

Drug use in Australia is ILLEGAL.

Why is he in rehab if he hasn't touched drugs?

Give him a go, yes, but profess to his innocence? No.

Wayne Carey didn't do anything illegal (at first) yet he was duly disgraced.

Cousins can join him for a while. In my mind anyway.

Cripes SS, he has obviously upset you - or I did - sorry

Don't preach your "innocent" bullshit to me. I cant see the words innocent or innocence in my posting

You hang with drug lords, expect to be investigated. Expect to be dragged into the limelight.

He has clearly been addicted to illegal, illicit drugs, that's why he's been in rehab.

Drug use in Australia is ILLEGAL. Yes - but there is a little thing called innocence until proven guilty and burdon of proof and they apply to him as they do to every other villian

Why is he in rehab if he hasn't touched drugs? er - coz he probably has touched drugs

Give him a go, yes, but profess to his innocence? No. No-one has

Those two sentences you clearly imply he is as innocent as little red riding hood.

You are saying he hasn't been PROVEN guilty. Meaning he is INNOCENT.

Legally he is innocent. But that aside, he's as guilty as any other drug user out there. That is why he is disgraced.

I'm all for Cousins playing. Love watching him play (other than against the Crows).

But you clearly think he hasn't done anything wrong.

He clearly has, otherwise, what has he got to fess up for?

Just annoys me how people want to piss in your ear about innocent before proven guilty.

Let him pull on the boots by all means but don't dress him up as Mr Sheen.

I am not saying he is innocent, and we both have better/happier things to do, so let's leave it and move on

"innocence until proven guilty and burdon of proof and they apply to him as they do to every other villian"
Only in court. Outside in the real world a less rigid logic prevails.
It is the "Ned Kelly mentality" that says we can do anything we can get away with, and others have to prove it before we can be stopped.
To quote the old song: "They say that Ned Kelly ain't ever done wrong, but tell that to Lonegan's widow!"
EPIGENETICS - Lamarck was right!
