but you are right its the pressure around the ball and delivery into the fwd line that will decide the outcome
we win more games when our fwds take marks in the corridor and convert
we need to take at least 15 marks in the fwd line
the rest come from the crumbers which improved last week
I would play Hentshell and Passador out of the square with small crumbers around their feet and Petrenko in the middle
Agree. The one positive of having Petrenko running off half back this week is that Unley Oval is so small that he would be delivering into the forward 50. We just need to work hard for 4 quarters all over the ground. They will flood back and run forward in numbers so we need to be unpredictable in bringing the ball forward and have a strong presence in the forward line. Hentschel, with all the talent he has and the injuries he's overcoming, still needs to go hard and make his presence felt. Something he didn't do at Alberton, particularly early, in his last game.
I hope Schwarze comes in with the attitude of something to prove, whether he plays forward or back. He will make a mistake or two, he always does, because he takes people on, but I hope he keeps his head up, gives it his all and plays for the team.
The Eagles can win this game if they're switched on.
