I'm only able to comment from what I read in the paper this afternoon, but from what I've can tell, I think your comment is spot on.
Norwood seem to be on the rise at the moment and possibly weren't sure what to do when in that controlling position against a side that has dogged them in recent years. It will be a valuable learning experience as the side progresses.
