The club tried their own forum when they went pro with their site but it failed.
The club either:
a) ignore the Roost which they shouldnt, they should embrace a forum where a large cross section of their members discuss issue
or
b) they read the Roost, take note of it but say publicly they don't read it.
IMHO its (b) as most NAFC staff, players, etc Ive ever talked to read it religiously, someone's even seen it on Glenn's PC and he's quite often discussed matters with me that have been risen on the Roost, as have most board members.
Clubs should embrace their members in online communities, most do, I think CD does a fantastic job and I think the way that Norwood actually made their fans forum apart of their official site is great, as I understand most of others forums are used in a smart manner by their clubs too, as should they.
But with the Roost and the "Virtual Runner" on the official NAFC site North fans do have 2 fairly good facilities to discuss the club and ask any official questions too.

Just in case we missed it fatal - what is your point in having a go at the CEO's comments?
If you think it's not 'rocket science' in what he said, do use your vast Football Operations knowledge and expertise to tell us exactly what he should have said? Then when you supply us with the hidden secrets of your wisdom we will follow Mr. Elliotts words of wisdom and ring the club to pass on your suggestions!

Fair enough mate, that's where we differ, personally I would embrace it and address the issues and stop telling lies as it would make the business work better hypothetically speaking.
Ignoring what the hypothetical shareholders think and not addressing their issues most of which are warranted would be a terrible way to do business and send most hypothetical business broke IMHO.

Broken record but would the NAFC hierarchy ever win regardless what they said or did?

Forever on TV
North seems to have mortgage on live coverage this season, particularly at Prospect. Including the latest schedule, we have been programmed for five of a possible 8 home games for direct ABC coverage - the remaining two are Sundays. Great for advertising, but it doesn't help attendances.

I would have thought "Great for Advertising" would be the opposite to having a whinge?
Having more TV games than other clubs has both its positive and negatives, Im not sure what the issue is there.
Full marks to the NAFC for making their website interesting enough for fans of other clubs wanting to visit there.

Fair post. But if they were performing better there wouldn't be attendance issues and they wouldn't need to blame the ABC for constantly showing their games...

Grahaml wrote:Sorry Wedge, I have to agree with NFC. The quote comes across as a negative more than a positive IMHO. Admittedly it's a little unclear but I would read it as implying that they would rather not have the coverage.
Anyway, since when did 5 out of 8 leave only 2?

Wedgie wrote:PS I just found all the official crowds for Prospect in 3 seconds flat on the official NAFC website, I thought I'd do a study and see if I could do the same on the Norwood website, can someone point me in the direction where I can do this? Ive given up after 30 seconds. Can't even find something as simple as the attendance for last week! Its websites like that, that we SHOULD be critical of.
