It often tends to be after a loss.
What was Sturt's combined winning margin across the four grades?

No one has suggested they had a bias toward either side, that is a considerable improvement on past seasons.
For my part I think the umpiring has improved markedly this year.
The umpires are protecting the player going for the ball or with the ball, much improved.
In recent years we have seen the interpretation of the rules to be penalising the player with the ball eg. the mess they made of the holding the ball rule. Now if you have the ball it is up to the opponent to win the the ball fairly. Only if a player is clearly caught with the ball will he be penalised.
The other major improvement I see is that the umpires are no longer afraid to pay a free kick in front of goals. If a free kick is there it should be paid regardless of where the infringement takes place.
If anything I thought the umpires missed a couple of free kicks later in the game.
But overall well done to the umpires, you have got it right now
Any one having comments of umpires performance at other games

CDFC have been the masters of doing this for years. Congratulations to the umpiring fraternity for finally cracking down on it.

just a question.
Is it the umpires fault how the are interpreting the rules, or are they confused because the rule makers keep changing the laws of the game and pick on a different rule for the umps to look at during the season?
