The Eagles tend to go more direct, kick longer and don't use handball and run as much. The type of game NA plays makes them look better drilled, but is their efficiency as good for the number of possessions they get.
Although NA had 31 scoring shots to 20 the Eagles went inside 63 times to NAs 54. The Eagles efficiency and lack of crumbers inside the 50 is a big problem. The Eagles have not rectified their onball problems in the off season, Eagles convincingly beaten by NA at ground level.

I parked in the same place 10 minutes later. Just had to cross Main North Road and i was in the ground. As Wedgie would say, it's not rocket science

Schwarze got the ball eleven times for eight scores, the Eagles have to be more competitive in claiming the other 52 inside 50 chances.
Mickyj you said you would have put Salter closer to goals, why would you do this when Schwarze was unstoppable in the air. Why put another tall down in the FF line to compete with Schwarze and get in his way, we needed crumbers to capitalise on any spillage.

Think there is a definite future for McEntee in the backlines, he was safe in the air, his kicks generally hit a target and gave us a little run up the field.
Pat Giuffreda's game was one of contrasts, his ability to keep at and harass Motlop for most of the game was excellent, but when he got the ball some of his turnovers were absolutely ugly. Unsure about his future in the league team.
Would like to see Adam Grocke be given a go at CHB or in a back pocket. I see him as giving the team run with his atheleticism and stamina. It would also release McKenzie to play on ball when needed.
