Parking at Prospect.....an issue since when??? I have parked in the carpark of a business that is closed on Prospect Rd near CAFE CENA and amble up the hill for what must be a 5min walk at the most before checking out Wedgies car again and entering the ground at the main gate. All this getting at the ground right on 2pm . Bloody Hell I walk further inside the ground going for a leak (or 2  ) than I do getting to the ground.I dont find parking an issue at any SANFL venue we are totally spoilt I reckon

Don't know what the fuss is about, my family and I rolled up about 20 mins before the main match and got a park right out the front of the caryard on Main North Road, as did alot of other people and had a 1 to 2 minute walk into the ground, been parking there now for some years around the same time and never a problem

The two teams play contrasting games, NA plays a possession game with lots of running, breaking lines and handball. The Eagles tend to go more direct, kick longer and don't use handball and run as much. The type of game NA plays makes them look better drilled, but is their efficiency as good for the number of possessions they get.

Although NA had 31 scoring shots to 20 the Eagles went inside 63 times to NAs 54. The Eagles efficiency and lack of crumbers inside the 50 is a big problem. The Eagles have not rectified their onball problems in the off season, Eagles convincingly beaten by NA at ground level.

Look I am over it but you came from MN road I acme from prospect rd .The cars were already lining one side of the street before 10.45 am as I stated in another post .If the streets around the oval from prospect rd side are full by 10.45 which they were in some sections does this indicate a parking problem ?
If I had known that MN road was full of car parks I would have parked on that side .Now i know

True Ferret .
But did the eagles always (well almost always)kick to Schwarze who had three on him .
The Eagles changed on ballers off the bench this I thought was strange.Salter left for so long at cHF when he should have been moved closer to goal. But he was moved on ball for a short time.
Crumbers I think Ron once again moved forwards into the centre negating them as crumbers in the forward lines, and of course on and off the bench.

Dont think Ron was really worried about the Crummers, he made sure everyone stayed out and left a huge paddock for Schwartze to lead into, and he did a mighty job, seemed to me looking from an opposition side supporter that was the plan and really the guy did the job, grabbed just about everything with one grab marks that came his way and booted 8, can't ask for much more than that

Just asking are you able to park there before 12noon on a Saturday ?
And as I said I parked down a side street from prospect rd not main north road its not rocket science to read that either mate. Perhaps if I knew that area better I would have parked some where else. Then again I don't need to travel to that part of Adelaide much

My point is that the ball went int the Eagles forward 50, sixty three times for 20 scoring shots, in NAs case it went in 54 times for 31 scores.
Schwarze got the ball eleven times for eight scores, the Eagles have to be more competitive in claiming the other 52 inside 50 chances.

Mickyj you said you would have put Salter closer to goals, why would you do this when Schwarze was unstoppable in the air. Why put another tall down in the FF line to compete with Schwarze and get in his way, we needed crumbers to capitalise on any spillage.

Thanks a lot North, had you by -18.5 in the punt comp and assumed at 3 qtr time i was home. Jars's speech was telling those that hadn't done much to date now was a beautiful time to get a kick and get involved, be part of the icing. FFS that was as weak as Norths last quarter. keep the foot on the throat Jars!!
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

I thought McEntee played very well in the first half but when shifted onto Alleway after half time found the body strength of Alleway too much. Think there is a definite future for McEntee in the backlines, he was safe in the air, his kicks generally hit a target and gave us a little run up the field.

Pat Giuffreda's game was one of contrasts, his ability to keep at and harass Motlop for most of the game was excellent, but when he got the ball some of his turnovers were absolutely ugly. Unsure about his future in the league team.

Would like to see Adam Grocke be given a go at CHB or in a back pocket. I see him as giving the team run with his atheleticism and stamina. It would also release McKenzie to play on ball when needed.

Ferret to me Salter looked to slow that far out from Goal .He does the impossible closer to goal. Just think back to last year ferret Grocke,Shwarze,Salter,Pasador all fitted into that forward line .And dont forget last year Macgregor was there as well.Once the eagles had to many smalls and not enough talls the other way around lately.
Just think both Grockes /Twomey/Heir to slot back in .Heir down back not to sure about Twomey .

I agree with you on the crumbers to my eyes as a "fan" the crumbers were rotating on and off the ball/ bench.you know the eagles trying to turn forwards into mid fielders.

IMHO the EAGLES are one tall defender short (no pun intended  ) perhaps thats why they recruited Twomey or Christain Grocke .They have also got Gogoll from the doggies he is much like Giuffreda.
