Re: 2026 Adelaide Footy League - Division 1
It has never been stated that we could be playing June LW. Soon after 2025 finished we have been regularly informed that 2026 season commence is 18/4. No games June LW which has been the case for at least 50 years and then we play through to 22/8. Finals commence 29/8 and GF is 19/9.

Re: 2026 Adelaide Footy League - Division 1
Doing a bit of research on Div 1 for the season and have come across a unique stat and I’m interested to know if this has happened before.
Only 3 Senior Coaches from 2025 will be leading their club again in 2026 in Div 1
Of the 7 new Coaches 6 of them will be in their first year as head Coach with only Marmalade Matt Knight from Div 2 not in his first season at the respective club
Probably speaks to the increased workload on Coaches at the highest level. Even speaking to a Div 6 Doyen and he is doing analytics, vision and coding. You need a pretty flexible employer with the time it takes to lead a club.

Knowing the doyen, he would be all over it.
He's just telling you he spends hours doing the work to justify his D1 salary

Both Nathan Grima and Garry McIntosh are returning Coaches who have Coached sides to Div 1 Grand finals on 2 occasions.locky801 wrote:YepBluedemon wrote:Hasn't Grima coached at Glenunga before?wristwatcher wrote:Doing a bit of research on Div 1 for the season and have come across a unique stat and I’m interested to know if this has happened before.

Yeah thought that might be the case. Wasn’t sure if Bodey got there in 19 or 20 but obviously win in 2019 and that was Macca

Re: 2026 Adelaide Footy League - Division 1
I just had a look at that too. They were on 12 in the GF, Lycett (4) would be a zero as he meets the game limit, Haines goes (3), Karpanny becomes 0 and Firns drops to 3. So that 12 becomes a 3.amber_fluid wrote:He’ll be handy in the 2’sbubba love wrote:Luke Reynolds to Districts now

On their socials they've announced two former players, plus Kyan Smith from Porties who would be a 3

Didn’t realise Lycett became a zero pointer either
Both returning players are more than handy so they’ll be hard to beat again in 2026
