Terrible news for Australia if he isn’t fit for the Ashes.
I’m sure the Poms have a conveyor belt of popgun bowlers they can send out here though
You have seen our batting haven't you?

India 2/75 at stumps, lead by 52.
I actually watched for a fair bit after lunch last night (usually only have the first session on after dinner to before bed) because my son was awake until 11/11.30 and now watched the highlights from where I turned off last night. Duckett and Crawley looked unstoppable until Duckett got out and how Pope was not given out live LBW to Siraj was unbelievable, it was absolutely plumb! Luckily for India they reviewed it. They did have a shocker after that, reviewing a delivery that Overton went to leave and it hit him obviously outside the line only to backed up by Overton who then reviewed a delivery that him plumb in front.

Re: TDK's International Test Cricket Update's
Graham Thorpe tribute Day.
You also had Root reviewing a plumb LBW.
Did you enjoy Deep’s ‘send off’ for the garden gnome?
Poms dropped 3 catches before stumps, one an absolute dolly.
Jaiswal taking them on, benefited from being dropped twice.
The simmering tension between the sides is itching to explode.

Was nice seeing the players wearing the headbands for Thorpe.
Deep's send off of the Garden Gnome wasn’t that bad but as an outgoing batter you'd always be angry getting out so Althea last thing you'd want is the bowler doing that.
Yep Root's was another hilariously bad review and forgot to mention earlier, Karun Nair's was even worse!

Bit of Smoke on the Water for Deep (Purple), he's India's Black Knight. Great partnership between him and Jaiswal of 107. India lead by 166
My favourite stat I've read today- no other batter in test history has opened more often (93 innings) and averaged less than Zak Crawley (31.06).

Re: TDK's International Test Cricket Update's
All out 396. 7, 8 and 9 put on 140 off the bat to make that total. England are 1/50 at stumps with Crawley getting bowled on what would be the last ball of the day.
9 wickets or 324 runs awaits day 4.

Out for 14 will make that even lower.
When he faced us in the Ashes of 2023 he was averaging 28 but was Englands highest run scorer of the series averaging 53. That was in England. In 2021/2 in three tests in Australia he had 6 digs averaging 27.
They must not have anyone else making a case for his spot.
