why not just start a thread for each series like normally happens?

dont know why there needs to be a really long super thread for every topic on here

I'm ok with it, interest in Test series not involving Australia can sometimes lose interest very quickly.

Not as fast as the current Saffers series. We are absolute plonkers.

Hope Ali and Stokes centuries in this test don't inspire the Aust selectors to continue their quest for an all rounder.

Rangana Herath ran riot against Zimbabwe taking 13 wickets for the match with eight in the second innings. His five wickets in the first innings saw him become the third player in test history behind Muralitharan and Steyn to take a five wicket haul against all of the test playing nations.

In indias defence this is the first road they have produced in the last few years. Root was the first visiting batsmen to make a ton in india since michael clarke in 2013. Even india havent scored heavily at home over the last few years. Mind you i'm pleased they produced one road for the series so we didn't lost 5-0 :D

Really liked the look of young hameed, this wasn't like the first innings where the pitch was a road. It was turning square and he looked really composed. For a 19 year old it is a rare quality to have.

There's a bit of Ricky Ponting in this Pommy kid Hameed's technique. Looks like he's got a bit about him.
