Aircon remote in my office has been fritzing out for a while, it turns the aircon on sometimes but other times it displays every symbol possible on the screen and nothing happens.

It wasn't budging this morning so I thought I'd go steal the remote from the office next door and try it, worked perfectly, as mine did for his aircon, some smartarse had switched them over, old mate next door has been sitting in the cold since I went to Bali as he thought his was rooted.
