Is Siraj the most over rated bowler in history? Does he ever stand up when it counts?

I expect TDK to come back at me and put me back in my place with some stats

I don't recall him bowling a spell where he's been completely on top of the batsman. He has the ability to bowl the odd good cherry but in the main is too inconsistent to really trouble most class top orders and Englands top order is that.

102 wickets at 31.83, SR 54 Econ 3.5.

So every 9 overs he's 1/31. Hardly world class.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

I think Booney is right and I don’t have any stats at the moment to defend him but I'll have a look at his record and see if there's anything outstanding that's worth posting, I can't stand the sight of him though, comes across as an absolute coat and I enjoy watching him getting hit around the park.

He actually bowled quite well last night in parts with little luck … had the Gnome dropped on 97 (I think it was) which could have changed the match.

He also was in good spirits, had some good hearted banter with the Gnome.

My Indian cuz was shite until he started to bowl wider into the footmarks and then was nearly unplayable.

Bumrah was probably the worst of the bowlers, but was off in the last few and didn’t take the new ball.

The surprise packets were Krishna and Thakur, who put a mini scare into the Poms before they steadied at the end.

The Gnome was really good, Root was a rock and calmed everything down, whilst Smith had a cameo BazzBall innings at the end, knocked off the last 16 runs after drinks in a few balls with a couple of sixes and a four.

Another 50 would have stretched them, but they did bat really well.

India would be kicking themselves though, dropped a few catches and their tail offered no resistance in both innings.

The pitch held up great for 5 days, so overall a good Test.

Nothing outstanding in his record although I think he is quite skilful, swings the ball and can play some unplayable deliveries, he's obviously passionate but he just goes over the top.

Day five stats-
