So it's 3 x 1st rounders or 2 x + the player you have that we want.

Edit - Cameron had played 171 games at GWS, Butters has played 126

Cameron is the 2nd most valuable player in the league, incredibly hard to match up on and can turn a game on it's head in a ten minute burst.

Butters on the other hand is an absolute jet, if he ended up at the Dogs it would be very dangerous, could be why they are trying to shift the JUH $$$'s.

Bergman to Hawks for Pick 8
Butters to Essendon for Picks 5, 9, 24 (they also have 27)
Bombers won’t be going for Butters.
If they do go for anyone it will be Reid.
I’d rather we hit the draft though

Not a first rounder though

If Butters and Bergman go you should get 3 first rounders back. All depends on which clubs the players want to go to
Essendon - 5, 9
Hawks - 8
Richmond - 2, 3
Saints - 6 + Nasiah
Bulldogs - 14
Geelong - 12

Will be Dogs, Cats or Hawks..............in that order IMO.

I was hopeful we would be a chance to get Butters but those hopes were dashed, actually they were absolutely smashed by Sam Maclure last night when he declared Butters was going to Hawthorn

No "blame media", "blame other teams players", "blame public"?

I think Kochie should stick to the business side and not comment about on field issues.

Thrown the whole farm at Butters, 7 year contract offer to Bergman……………. Whiff of panic or warchest territory?

They know they cannot lose those two otherwise its a full rebuild.
All other 17 clubs in their situation would be offering the same deals.

Huh? Do you take any notice of the contracts players get offered nowadays or what?

With the amount of talk on hamstrings this week I’m not surprised he’s become aware

Horne-Francis, Farrell, Lukosius, Jones, Marshall, Sinn and Ratugolea out of those in the mix for the best 22.

Just looking at the AFL website now....compare that to other clubs who we would generally agree would be in their best 21..

Adelaide- 2
Brisbane - 4
Carlton- 9-11
Collingwood- 5-6
Essendon- 4
Fremantle- 6-7
Geelong- 4
Gold Coast- 4-6
GWS- 5
Hawthorn- 3
Melbourne- 2
North Melbourne- 3-4
Richmond- 4-5
St Kilda- 6
Sydney- 7-9
West Coast- 6-8

Not purely coincidence the top 8 are amongst the most healthy.
