What puts this game at close to 50/50 is that there have been 32 Shield finals where there has been a 4th innings chase. Every run chase below 270 has been chased down (13 of them, the 239 above is the highest). Every chase above 270 has either been drawn (7 times) or lost (12 times). It's really how the pitch has played out which tips it our way, on face value.

Bring out all the stats you like. We need 270 on a day 4 road. End of story

Went from the box seat at start of the day to the back seat at the end of the day that said should get done tomorrow on a great batting track. Have heard Neser likely only has one spell in him tomorrow - battling injury and has been jabbed each day.

Looking forward to the chase. Be interesting if it comes down to batting out the last hour for a draw.

It's a pretty friendly deck we'll do it in 3/4s of a day.

Not sure what you are on sometimes tigerpie. There’s 2 days left. QLD ended up batting at 3.26 runs per over but were just under 3.0 when they were 6/264 after 90 overs. If we get these runs it would be nice to get them late today in front of a big crowd. The atmosphere and crowd could be a bit of a downer if we still need 20 or 30 on Sunday.
