Re: Things that make you laugh

I've long found ESPN's attempt to cover the AFL as being comically inept, but the latest had me giggling like a schoolgirl.

They've broken with tradition and gone with a top 20 of things that are "must watch" in 2025. Top of the list is Bailey Sniff of the Catters.

Now, I don't know about you lot, but I don't think I'd be rating a Cotton On model that can't kick to save himself as the highlight reel of 2025, unless the viewability of said nomination has more to do with the number of grassed kicks and Instagram posts than football ability that stops you mid-beer to applaud.

I'm not linking the article as that would only encourage them further...

If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Metropolitan Plumbing finally getting found out...
They quoted me once $25,000 to replace some sewerage pipes by diverting the pipe around a tree and its roots (literally in a "U" shape for sewerage...) which did not sound right so got a second opinion. Turned out to be $6000 with full tree removal and done properly following the existing pipe line, with some storm water replaced at the same time.
The concerning part was my wife was home at the time when she called them out (toilet blocked, first plumber she could think of), and he was pressuring her to make a decision there and then until she rang me at work on speaker and he left.

My In-Laws nearly used them but Mrs Jimmy's Dad is a very good jack of all trades and called BS
One of their tricks is "find" more problems than there really are then "fix" them
A quoted $5,000 job is suddenly $10,000. They are very convincing about showing the additional problems.

Weren't they doing roofing as well at some stage and got called out like this?

Coaching from the bench, chirping at opposition players. Is Fly Kenough for the Pies?

Reckon his 7 GF appearances for 4 flags has him just a nose in front of Kenny though :)

3 x Flemington straights.

Sheeds would have to go down as one of the top 5 iconic coaches so far.

Barassi would be #1 in my book, Clarkson is establishing a fair case for himself and as much as I'd hate to say it, Matthews went alright, my love for Blighty might have him higher than most would.
