If Rahul drops the catch
Do we then say Samball Konstas got under the Indians skin and flustered them enough for that fielder to drop that catch ?
If you want to go quickly, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.

Re: Australian International Summer 2024/25
I’m more interested in what Konstas brings with the bat tomorrow.
As predicted he brought the footwork charging Bumrah on a few occasions. How often can he get away with that especially given India will have a night to plan for it. Test cricket is a test for a reason. What’s his plan C?

It’s not a moot point because your acting like there is a magic formula that equals batter sledging a bowler automatically means the bowler performs better. Same as people saying he put more pressure on his self like this magic formula equals more pressure equals poorer performance like some people don’t thrive of pressureBooney wrote:He didn't drop it. If he was to hit a 50 odd would you then turn around and conceded his banter with the Indians was successful.

Not sure many of batsmen have found a plan B against Bumrah yet so I would think Konstas is doing ok. I mean McSweeney Khawaja and Marsh were all stuck trying to make plan A work

So Bumrah was upset with Konstas and thats why he got him outBooney wrote:He didn't drop it. Moot point.mal wrote:Khawaja C Rahul B Bumrah 2

Rahul made sure he caught it because of Konstas
My opinion
The worlds best bowler got out a bloke who is past his best, and has been his bunny this series
Rahul caught a catch you would expect a Test cricketer to catch
As for dont poke the bear , wrong sport ,
One bear was a Norwood ruckman/CHF or great rower
The other bear was one of the greatest golfers in the galaxy

LOL
Actually, it’s an interesting point if he ever does tour … if he can manage to piss off Aussie supporters in only 6 days of cricket, imagine what it will be like on hostile turf.

Come on youre smart enough to understand there is zero correlation between the ball before and Khawajas ability to play the next ball delivered to him.Booney wrote:Dear.whufc wrote:It’s not a moot point because your acting like there is a magic formula that equals batter sledging a bowler automatically means the bowler performs better. As Mal said nothing was done different from one ball to the next from an Indian point of view. Next you will telling me the swapping the bails is genuinely got power to take a wicket

He’ll be fine if he ever tours South Africa, there’s only the Mums and Dads to upset at the ground.
