I only learnt that this year also after driving for more than 30 years.

There are some that walk amongst us who have never known. :D

Got given a Nissan X-Trail as a hire car last year (as usual, not the vehicle I booked) and it took me probably 10 mins to work out where the hand brake was … it was an old school foot brake, hadn’t seen one on those for yonks :lol:

Whilst on my break a woman came up and went on a spiel about all sorts of nonsense and told me she was the daughter of Jesus :lol: :lol:

My boss has children in late senior school and university and every year around this time we get a few of their friends in to help with our end of year wrap up. Engineering students in the factory cleaning machines and tooling, someone in the office filing and doing some admin tasks. It's a great help, saves me doing it!

Anyway, we had a young girl in 3 weeks ago, Monday and Thursday, last week, Monday and we told her that's probably it so no more until after Christmas. She didn't show up last Thursday accordingly, didn't show up Monday but lo and behold 5 to 8 this morning in she rolls.

"Oh I forgot" *giggles*

She's studying to be a brain surgeon. In Sydney. On a scholarship. One of 15 in Australia.

We're in good hands, people.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.
