Inability to field two sides should come with the consequence of guaranteed relegation end of the season.

What annoyed me is that these clubs rejected discussions for regrading.. **** them, if they can’t field two sides and it’s in the best interests of the comp to move them, then do it!

D5R is going to shit with two byes for teams.. D6R we going to have games where both our B and C grade don’t play. **** me.

Div 6 - Elizabeth

All going to have one A grade team this season and reserves will be byes

Is the decision to have byes locked in? Farcical to move these teams to a C competition. 4 team division 8 competition? [emoji23]

These clubs have also been advised of the consequences of forfeiting on more than three occasions and have already had the expectations for re-registration in 2025 very clearly explained.

Sheesh. I look forward to 60 goal thumpings all season in that case.

Scrap Div 7 and make 4/5/6 divisions 12/13 teams.

Would love to know what players you’ve spoken to that want to play more than 18 games + potentially 3-4 finals.. Only one week off throughout in June! 18-20 year olds maybe but not a chance many above that age would be keen to extend the season!

Good luck finding volunteers to donate even more time to a longer season. Venues in many cases won’t be available for longer seasons either as other sports take over.

One of the sillier posts I've seen on here. Do you even understand the calendar. There are only just enough weeks outside of the summer sport season plus factoring in the gap between Easter and the AFL Grand Final to fit the current standard season of 18 home and away games and 4 weeks of finals.

Having 5/6 teams in D7 has more logic in the short term than playing 22 rounds in a 12 team comp. At least there will be grounds available.

I think the League rules is that you have to have 2 teams

We asked multiple times to go down, but the league are firm on their decision.

That's exactly what's happening now.

We still have decent juniors, we've just lost basically two whole teams over the last couple years.
