We can confirm at least one Eagles debutant for Monday night’s League game…

Riley Collier-Dawkins will play his first SANFL match after making his way to the Eagles in 2023 from AFL club Richmond.

We can’t wait to see him in action

According to some at the club (WT) he was one of the most sort after recruits. I was surprised to see he hadn't played been selected until now.

Surely he’d been injured?

Great call on the SANFL app for the ressies. Knew all the players but did cross the line with a couple of umpires favorites comments.

Loved the sign off with its stubbie time with the louts. Nice red herring.

GL 5-3
EG 5-6
Luke ''Cameron'' Reynolds kicks another goal
He is a magnificent kick for goal- better left foot kick for goal than Freddy Phillis

GL 15-10
EG 7-10

The BIG Tigers took many more contested marks than the Eagles and was a significant factor on the sMALl oval

From halfway through the 2nd qtr we saw something Bays fans haven’t seen since 2020 systemic forward pressure

Repeat forward 50 stoppage then goals

Repeat fwd 50 entries (dump kicks) then either Hosie McBean, Holder or Reynolds were the target.

One plucking of Eagles feathers doth not a winter make but the signs tonight were good

Onto the next challenge, Norwood
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Once again they’re rarer on here than prostitute at a church picnic

Over 4500 there last night according to the SANFL.

Fantastic crowd, kudos to all who were there.

Last night showed all that’s good about SANFL footy.

Eagles were very good early.

AB
Your quote from GL V ST Round 1
I think we lost this game on Tuesday when went for Leck instead of one of Searle, Stagg or Gerloff. Too top heavy.
85% of our F50 entries waltzed straight out

GL picked thier norMAL BIG team since rd 1 ???? and have kept winning
I need to know are they top heavy or not, or does the final scoreboard dictate how you post ?

Seeing as AMbays will not respond to my posts, perhaps other posters can give me an opinion
Are the Bays too top heavy ?
Im thinking not - they have won far too many games in recent years
