Fielder at fine leg collected a ball from car park and scraped it along the ground multiple times… all in front of one of the Kensington players walking out from his changerooms.
Nothing will come of ball tampering: it is impossible to say who did, what and when and no umpire would have proof, knowledge or have even seen it happen. Especially in a car park.

If a Victorian coach can get away with it in a televised Shield Final, can't see how they can pin it on someone in a car park at a Premier match. Doesn't make it right. Just saying.....

The umpires check the ball after every six, plus when the ball leaves the oval area, like into a car park at Parkinson. Two senior umpires there today, I am sure if the ball looked any different they would have done something. Nothing to see, play on.

Lots of pressure on the umps when one team wants to play and the other team doesn’t. WT would hope the get 40 overs in to give them a chance, five an over. Don’t think radar looks too promising though. Why finishing top is so important.

No play yet at Kensington, surprise surprise…
Hearing they are aiming to start at 12.30 with 80 overs available. Any time lost with rain from now on reduces those overs. Gives WT at least a chance if rain stays away till late arvo.
