Wonder if Ben will have any role in deciding the future of stars of the club who are or are approaching 30.

Jonas is all class, every club he has been involved with has benefited from his presence.

Thought Rehn might've got a go seeing as he's out of the Lions

The changes are coming thick and fast down there!

Good to see quick responses to the 8th place finish. Matty Clarke only just finished playing so should be well placed to help the lads. Ditto Ben Hart.

As for Jonas - I wondered last season if Jonas's influence (from his Sydney days) was why we started to play more like the Swans. Maybe there's been a shift in thinking by the club.

PR - I did wonder what that decision meant for the Roosters.

Just an observation,

Considering the way that Matthew Clarke left the Crows and went to St Kilda after having retired leaving the Crows with no compensation for his loss, is it then appropriate to have him back at the club coaching other players in how to play for the jumper of the club?

He turned his back quite quickly on South also to play for Glenelg although he didnt play a game and we ended up benefiting financially out of that, it still raises questions about his commitment to the colours that he wears?

Which is better for the Crows, someone who is passionate about the colours of the club or someone who couldent care less as long as it has a good pay packet in it?

I'd suggest Matty's retirement had more to do withthe Crows informing him they weren't going to offer him a new contract ... Can't see that Clarke did anything wrong by the club by accepting an offer elsewhere that the Crows weren't prepared to make.

Spot on CP

It looked like a retirement at first when Matty left but JR made it clear on 5AA that the club told him he was no longer required at the club - then he 'retired', then he got a life-line from the saints

As long as there is money involved, there will be no loyalty or commitment.
