A stronger case for the "But I only wanna play one-dayers because I have my kids every fortnight or I work every 2nd weekend"
They end up winning the C grade batting and play every week.
The truth generally came out in round 5 when the higher grades started their one-dayers "but I'm sitting 2nd in the association runs"
Yeah I think there will be a lot of 'I might be getting called into work a fair few times so its going to be easier to just play one dayers so I don't miss out'
Long Plains Cricket Club is looking for any senior players to play 2 day cricket, A3's on a mix of turf and hard wicket in the Barossa & Light Cricket Acc. Excellent facilities, great club culture. PM me for details. Thankyou

6 team grades. Grade 1 and 2 pure two day comp (10 rounds). Grade 3 to 5 playing 5x two day games and 10x one day games. Grade 6 to 11 playing pure one day comp (20 rounds).
There was like 27 two day sides registered, and 36 one day sides registered last night including 4x from Para Vista and 3x from Athelstone & ATCO.
Grade 1 & 2 clubs to vote on which clubs make up the top two grades, after it was insinuated EP would have to play Grade 2.

May as well just make all the grades below 2 the 5/10 format and get rid of the LO comps.
If clubs can’t commit to 5x two day games then **** em.. clubs cruise through the one day grades taking the piss, with no scrutiny, whilst the same clubs try and prop up the premier grades of the competition and are constantly fighting each other to manage it.

A work collegue from our head office was playing for Adelaide Warriors last season but mentioned to me he has moved to a new club him and his mates have set up.

I would prefer two day cricket in all comps like you suggested. Sadly I think the reality is a lot of those one day only teams would pack up and move comps.
I guess the league committee doesn't have the guts to risk losing a heap of teams for what we consider the betterment of the competition. Put simply they probably don't need the hassle and drama.

Wondering if that is in the PDCA.
Two new clubs - Adel Risers and Adel Union - into the one day comps.
