at glenelg late 2006?
Correct. North 21 goals 20 behinds defeated Glenelg 22 goals 10 behinds. Perrie 6 goals. Glenelg were unlucky on two counts. It is hard to believe that you can score 22 goals and lose and fancy getting Ian Perrie kicking 6 goals against you.
another questions when was the last time 40+goals would have been kicked in a game

Westies managed 30.9 to Glenelg's 11.11 at the Bay in 2015. Don't know if this was the last time though.

Where were you when we were sh!t, oh hang on....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
South Adelaide will field all three of its highly-rated teenagers when it confronts North at Flinders University Stadium.
Wing Matthew Roberts returns from an ankle injury while Arlo Draper (18, 186cm and 75kg) will make his SANFL debut at half-forward, joining Jason Horne-Francis in the starting 18.
Captain Matthew Rose could return from his extended stint on the sidelines after shoulder surgery while Tyson Brown has been named in the back pocket.
Left-footed Reece Milsom will miss due to concussion.
Luckless North Adelaide recruit Billy Hartung will return to the League line-up to face South Adelaide at Flinders University Stadium.
The former Hawthorn speedster has been battling hamstring injuries since arriving at Prospect but is coming off a confidence-boosting 26-disposal performance in the Reserves.
Ben Jarman also had his strong Reserves form rewarded after racking up 27 disposals and two goals while premiership defender Tanner Smith returns after a one-game stint in the seconds.
Jarred Allmond is out due to concussion while Robbie Young will miss the match due to personal reasons.
Double chance up for grabs at Noarlunga and this should be a cracker! North in great form and South getting players back from injury at the right time of the season. COVID break seemed to help us out with recovery time. South desperately need to improve on goal kicking, hopefully it clicks soon because it's already cost us some wins this year and we can't afford to kick badly against teams like North (or Glenelg and the Eagles) because they will punish us. Very disappointed that I'm working so I'll have to sneak 7plus on my computer
Danger game for North. I’m concerned Skinner could carve us up, potentially tearing us a new one. He’s claimed some scalps in his time. Interesting they’ve named Heaslip in the pivot, as he is not that sure footed, will be looking for a dry deck. I’d expect Draper to measure up, and I’ve no doubt he will Fitt in, Overall.
1961, 1971, 1976, 1978, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991, 2008, 2013, 2014, 2015.... And don't you forget it!

I understand Drapers selection blind sided a few pundits, if he fails to deliver now, his playing career could be in tatters, could even be curtains.

If so, he'll have plenty of opportunities in Holland or Venice.

Nice day today, should be a good match with no excuses. Decided to watch it in C7 to see a bit better what's happening and save my trip down south for tomorrow to see my son play. A full tank only goes so far.

Far out another ruckman gone for South. North gifted some goals by the umpires. South playing well and need to stick with it and hope the calls come our way eventually.
