As if Rees-Mogg for a surname wasn't toffy enough.

I initially thought, geez, they'll cop it big time in the schoolyard, but the reality is they'll all be shipped off to upper-crust boarding schools where ridiculous names are an entry requirement. Spare a thought for Sixtus, who would also be expected to teach Latin and classics.

If he had another child it would've been called Tarquin Fin-tim-lin-bin-whin-bim-lim-bus-stop-F'tang-F'tang-Olé-Biscuitbarrel Rees-Mogg.

My facebook newsfeed being littered with amateur footy player signings across the state from one platform, the best one yet was a Para Hills FC signing yet the dude has never played football before.

This advertising of players signing really shits me. All it is doing is putting some no name spud up in headlights for a couple of hours. With the way things work some kids might even want to change clubs just for their own publicity. Even worse announcements that your captain has re signed etc. So he should he is your captain!
Fair enough advertising your coach, they are the face of your club, but that's where it should stop.
Even saw one the other day for a women's team player signing.
I actually think this is the biggest thing wrong with amateur and country footy at the moment. Its disgusting
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Yeah, a couple people I know on FB were heading down there and letting it be known, perhaps they "thug lyfed" it and caught the train in without a mask.

Did you think they were normal or suspect otherwise?

I have many on my list that are there for pure boredom, I keep most hidden then go do a search to see what shit they've posted since my last search for a laugh.

I use those sorts of people as a self-esteem boost.

Aww shucks...

I have a few of those people in my extended 'family'. They're the reason I always want to avoid Xmas lunch.

A woman at work when it comes to describing her son and husband's jobs.

There's been a few doozies over the years when people have asked.

"What does your son do?"
"He umpires AFL" is her reply. (He is a boundary umpire in the ammo's).
"He's a security guard" was another. (He checks peoples temps with a temp gun as they enter a work site).

"What does you husband do?
"He's a lab technician" was todays reply. (He works for a soil testing company).

Don't be so negative.
It's good that she's proud of her family.

I have a job where I spend 7.6 hours doing all I can to pretend to be working without actually doing anything useful. I am not proud of what I do, nor is anyone I know talking up my contributions to a productive society.

Mate, I've just heard it for years and know them well outside of these walls and it's nothing like it's put across.
