Will there even be a ceremony this year? What with COVID restrictions on crowds and all.
What about the Rundle Mall player presentation?
Nothing been said about the mall. Come on SANFL.

They cancelled the chimney ceremony weeks ago, haven't heard anything about the Rundle Mall gig but assume it would never be going ahead.
I thought they said the chimney ceremony will still happen but no spectators will be allowed

Re: 2020 SANFL Grand Final North v Eagles
The result this weekend is all about the Eagles having the right mental approach. They are the better team on paper BUT they need to be prepared to take the risks... North did that so well 2 yrs ago. If the Eags play to not lose then they will in fact lose.
Fortunately I think Sheedy is working towards rectifying this mindset, but its ingrained in the Club.
A key player to me is one who ironically has a name nore synonymous with North..Vonbertouch. Great overhead, hard to match up. However he iften doesn't come ready to play (like last week). If he fires then the Hayes boys are even more dangerous.

Yes this is true. We have been the best side all season and based on that we should win. But in reality we know it is not as simple as that. The team that wins will be the team that has the right mindset, brings the right intensity and is prepared to put their body on the line. This team doesn't necessarily have to be the most skilled.
Von Bertouch has the potential to clunk a few marks and kick 4-5 goals. He's been a good foil for Rowe and Hayes and averages close to 2 goals a game but has never really looks like he has been going full throttle. Maybe the GF will be his time to shine.

Re: 2020 SANFL Grand Final North v Eagles
North's team:
Kym LeBois Mitch Harvey Lewis Hender
Frank Szekely Keenan Ramsey Robbie Young
Jarred Allmond Harrison Wigg Will Combe
Cameron Hewett Tanner Smith Alex Spina
Ben Jarman Karl Finlay Mitch Clisby
Ruck - Alex Barns, Andrew Moore, Campbell Combe
Interchange - Elliot Chalmers, Billy Hartung, Dyson Hilder, Keanu Miller, Lee Minervini, Tom Schwarz, Mackenzie Slee
In - Billy Hartung, Dyson Hilder, Mackenzie Slee
Out - N/A
James Craig didn't make a return to the side, and is playing in the reserves grand final. Hartung comes in, presumably recovered from his injury sustained at Unley several weeks ago.
Interesting to see who drops out - HiIder has probably been included to cover Smith who may be still injured, so one of those two will be culled, and probably Minervini and Slee as well.

EAGLES
Woodville-West Torrens has added Jordan West to its squad as cover for ruckman Jarrad Redden in Sunday’s Statewide Super League Grand Final against North Adelaide.
Redden suffered a ”stinger” to his left shoulder in the dying stages of the Preliminary Final, forcing him to the bench where he was strapped with a significant ice pack.
The former Power giant is expected to be fit to face the Roosters but West has been named on the extended interchange should Redden not recover.
Midfielder Jake Comitogianni and defender Pierce Seymour, who were squeezed out for the 43-point win against South last Sunday, have also been included in the Eagles’ 25-man list.
F: Rowe, J. Hayes, Poole
HF: N. Hayes, Von Bertouch, Foote
C: McNeil, Toumpas, Goldsworthy
HB: Jones, Giuffreda, Mansell
B: Rowland, Thompson, Wehr
R: Redden, Sinor, Tsitas
INT: West, Lowson, Lonergan, Seymour, Jungfer, Comitogianni, Firns
IN: Comitogianni, Seymour, West

Scary as I know a heap of people that "purchased" free tickets they weren't aware they eligible for.
I personally have 5 tix in the outer, two at a package drinks deal in the members and two free tickets in the members I won't be using that came free.

I just don't like the restrictions. I went on the site and it allocated me ticket on the top level eastern stand. It didn't look like you could not choose location. I will watch on Tv and go back to Woodville after we win.
