Football these days has gone from "Trying to score more than the other team" to "trying to concede less score than the other team".

Has anybody used "hanger steak"? Is it a slow cook, a smoker or other?

BBQ for me or pan seared and then roasted. Beautiful tasting meat but gets very chewy if overcooked. Medium to medium rare only

Eaten it a few times at Hereford Beefstouw on Hutt St.

BBQ grill to medium is the way to go.

Thanks fella's, seen it on special for $18 per kilo at the butchers, will probably grab some, they've got their beef shorties for the same price.

We're heading to the Hereford in a few weeks time for a work department dinner, should get home before daylight.

I’ve been lent Adelaide Oval members tickets for Sunday night.
Can I scan these at the gate or do I have to go online & print them out via Ticketmaster/Ticketek?

Think you need like a PDF version (or similar) on your phone mate .. My understanding is no print outs or members cards can be used.

I just showed my ticket via the Ticketek app on my phone on Monday evening.

You can use print outs of the QR code, I print them out for my Mum and Step Dad, old and all. ;)

Just found out Adelaide Oval Essential memberships don’t admit you to North v Melbourne Sunday night.
Something about it being a “one off event” & not a Crows or Port game.
What a load of crap, SMA.

I need to know....

Postby RustyCage » Thu Aug 06, 2020 5:58 pm

Changed a fuse in my car today and when the dead fuse was pulled out, the prongs decided they wanted to stay inside the fuse box. Of course I didn’t notice until I tried to put the new fuse in and wondered why it would only go in half way. Would I be right in thinking my next step would be an autoelectrician? The prongs aren’t sticking out or anything so can’t use pliers/tweezers to pull them out, which has been the most common fix for the issue I’ve read online. Image

Cigarette lighter works now, but don’t trust the new dodgy set up to not set the car alight (or shorting out anything else electrical

Given my post I assume it goes without saying, but I’m completely hopeless at this type of thing!

I loved the commentary when James Hird took a mark on the defensive edge of the centre square.

'Hird ALL the way up from half forward'

LOL these days that's the half forwards starting position :)

Has anyone had trouble getting Kayo on a brand new smart TV? It won't show up as a possible app. The TV is a Hitachi.

If so, how did you resolve it?

I'm interested in the answer as well as I can't get it on my LG in the bedroom as an app.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep

No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

I've had problems with streaming Foxtel on my new smart tv. Hooked up the Chromecast I had lying around and its worked fine so I just go through that.
(Netflix and a few others work fine with it and didn't need the chromecast)
Might be something to do with the wifi network and where you have things placed or a setting in the router, I was too lazy to try and test that theory though especially with a chromecast lying there idle which works fine.
