I thought Groucho would've been of an age where they wouldn't be necessary anymore. Not sure if that would be the correct way to 'apply' the product either.

What are we doing ?
Our side is always too small,it's the same every year.
Makes it tougher for our mids and medium size forwards.

Re: Round 5 Centrals v North Saturday 1410
In recent years it definitely has always looked and felt like a boys versus men scenario.
Even our new ruckmen Thompson is only 194cm which is the same height as Tex Walker and Nate Fyfe.

Andrews would know a lot better than a mug punter like me but every game this year we have been undersize and it appears other teams 'bully' us for three quarters until our speed/fitness bring us back into it for the last.
Even against South Joel Cross was taking pack marks in the forward 50.

North by 3 goals.
By 'improving' I assume you mean that we improve within the one game rather than across the season.
Our first half against Norwood was probably the worst we have played all year.
However, we do have a habit of 'improving' through a game - playing a terrible first half (giving sides starts of between 30 and 50 points) and then a good, solid second half: very frustrating each week!
Therefore, my prediction this week:
North to lead by 49 points at half-time and win by 27 in the end.
Cheers
A Bulldog in winter; a WTDCC Eagle and OICC Wolf in Summer!

True, but our goal this season is (or at least sure appears to be) to win the Reserves premiership this year
A side can only win one of two things: the premiership or a wooden spoon. We are in line to win the latter in the League and the former in the Ressies

I've seen all Centrals games this year and I just thought the second half of last week was the best footy you had played this year.
You have trailed at half time by 16,24, level and 34 points so far this year.
Against Norwood and West you had better second halves than your first.

Re: Round 5 Centrals v North Saturday 1410
We still haven't won a game though and that is all that counts at the end of the day.
Do I need to quote Terry Wallace again i.e. honourable loss, spew up.
Winning a Reserves Premiership is a bonus and shouldn't be a club's main focus.

Do they still do half decent counter meals at the Grand Central?
Might take the missus a bit early and run some money through the coffers.

Someone should have warned me there's no Pale on tap out here!
Luckily I can handle a Furphys and the missus is soaking up some Ted's, great day for it out here.
Good crowd in the Grand Central bar, standing room only.
