Very poor, not as bad as Denly's effort dropping Williamson off Archer just now.

Denly’s drop is the worst dropped catch I have seen in any grade of cricket including the many kids teams I coached

It was that bad that Archer pissed himself laughing.

To be fair we'd have to consider the opposition and it's been less of a road in recent years, except for this year.

And I think Warnie is an absolute stick.

Kane Williamson's success rate at DRS is worse than Tim Paines, so could be an intetesting series.

Get that up to 20% and it will probably win you a few test matches, especially if the other captain goes at 5-10%

I think Australia will win comfortably here but we’ll soon see. Soon as Paine goes out and is replaced by Carey and some other minor adjustments this Australian team has the makings of being a very solid team for the next 5-6 years. Need another decent spinner to come through the ranks quick though.

I wouldn't worry too much about a spinner myself. I reckon Gaz has years left in him.

Some more decent batsmen would be nice though.

Luck of the draw
There was no Warner no Smith and an emerging Lab when India beat Australia last summer
Pakistan got clobbered by Warner and Lab
Now NZ have to take on the 3 of them

Question
If India played this season instead of NZ would they win the series against Australia ?
I would say NO , Australia in its current form and players available would be beating India

Melbourne is the worst test on the Australian calendar and has been for a long time.

So they either produce an absolute minefield which happened as far back as the early 80's under
G.Chappell or a road. Good for cricket. Surely it's not that hard to produce a decent wicket, especially with the coin that's thrown into the stadium.

Doesn't help when their head curator couldn't even make decent wickets here for grade cricket.. absolutely astonished that he's overseen 2 test venues

Trav Head & Alex Carey both on the same flight this arvo as me over to Melb. Assume they are heading over for the AB medal tomorrow evening. Then again Wes Agar is on board.... can’t think why he would be going, unless he’s waiting tables?

Took two 5fa's but only took one more wicket in his other 3 matches.
