Stevens, well all your doing is swapping a like for like type of player, Massie is still a bit quicker then Stevens off the Mark
During the heat of the battle I was calling for a change, looking back now, their were no alternative options
I say again, their is no defender, not even scarlett or glass that would of stopped Buddy yesterday
the crows were good enough to force Buddy to shoot from outside 50, Buddy delivered, he is a superstar and would of delivered the same on any crows defender yesterday

My apology
However Stevens, "yeah that would of made a difference"
Steven's is slower than Massie and not as strong, Steven's does have a height advantage however this was not the issue

Didn't Franklin kick 3 goals in 5 minutes in the 2nd to get Hawthorn back in to the game and then kicked 3 in the last to win it for them? It wasn't just one goal.
Stevens was the obvious match up. Rutten could have been tried if that failed. Bock could have been tried if both of those failed. McGregor could have been tried if all of the above failed. I then would have tried Massie or Torney as a last resort...

Wouldn't have considered Burton as an option?

I didn't consider it, no. But not a bad option. To be fair on Craig, I think he did try to double team Franklin with Bock and Massie in the last quarter and Franklin still beat both.
Like others have said, credit has to go to Franklin (what a star) and the Hawks for their win. They did deserve it. It's a shame the Crows couldn't win a final after their last three weeks and the possible pathway they could have had to the GF. An opportunity lost.

Richmond and WB are believed to be interested, would the Tigers be prepared to offer young Edwards or Hughes, or would the WB consider one of their quality runners like Griffen, Ray, Hahn or McMahon
