Carlton don't look ok for anything.bennymacca wrote:Tom Morris on the couch saying Mitch McGovern will be at Carlton next year "for sure"
Doesn't make a lot of sense to me given he just signed a contract and Carlton look ok for key forwards
They would need to part with a VERY high pick for that to happen

Re: Adelaide Crows 2018
Many saying McGovern to Hawthorn, seems a done deal that he's on his way out though.
Rowe on AA this morning spilled the beans on West Lakes, rumors a "senior player or senior official" is still unhappy with the camp and may be looking at asking the AFL to investigate. Seems whoever opened up to the media at West Lakes after the camp may have spoken again yesterday after the press conference.

Have only heard the Wingard to Hawthorn rumour, media only saying Carlton a sure thing apparently for McGovern, huge 5 year deal.
The AFLPA enquired at the time and come to the conclusion that there was nothing to investigate.

I am shocked.
Imagine what Seedsman could teach Richardson though? Opportunity lost for St Kilda. Seriously when you watch Scott and Richo on 360 it's amazing that Richo is a senior coach. Can hardly string two words together.

Unbelievable that this is still going and the AFC have let the fire keep burning, where has Fagan been on all this, haven't heard from him all year!
Was always going to get ugly once the on field stuff finished if they didn't clamp down on it.

Re: Adelaide Crows 2018
Collective Minds statement today :
“We were disappointed to see further unsubstantiated claims in relation to Adelaide’s pre-season camp emerge yesterday. As we clearly stated at our media conference, we can only speak on behalf of our business and not the club or individual players.
“It was our call to initiate discussions about formally parting ways with the Crows. This was so the players could focus on their season. The Crows said in June that we had agreed to part ways and that is correct.
“To say we were sacked, twice or even once, is incorrect. We were not “brought back against players’ wishes”. To be very clear: we did not do any work with the team after March 15. Again, the Richmond theme song was not played on the bus during the trip.
“There was a comedian on the bus who sang a few bars of the song, but that was it. The team doctor was briefed on the program before the camp took place, and Club leaders were walked through and signed off on every aspect of it.
“The doctor also cleared all players to take part and was nearby on call.
“We repeat, all due diligence in association with the camp was undertaken and approved. Because we have not been working with the club for some months now, we can’t speak for them.
“All we can go on is what we’ve been told – or the feedback we have received.
“We repeat, we had very positive feedback from the camp and yet understand some sessions didn’t resonate.
“We have received no reports of trauma to players and naturally, we would be very concerned if this were the case. We wish the players and the Crows the very best for the 2019 season.”

It's laughable that these muppets are blaming a camp for their shit season. That says more about the players and the club than it does collective minds.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Re: Adelaide Crows 2018
What's laughable is that senior staff at the Adelaide FC brought into the mumbo jumbo that these kooks dished up. Who was it that thought these clowns had something to offer the other clowns?
Wonder why Fagan hasn't come out and said anything?
Every time the blokes from CM speak or make a statement it really makes me wonder who wanted to be in on it. ******* amazing!

1 year into a 3 year deal Josh Francou is leaving Adelaide for the Gold Coast Suns.

Probably ‘family reasons’ like Lade even though both are Adelaide boys.

Do you live under a rock?
Its been talked about since February by the media.
Just not publicly by the playing group.
If you have another reason for the plummet down the ladder do tell.

Jacobs seemed to be injured all season. And that killed them.
I know Collingwood has done well with injuries but you put a firing Grundy in any team and they will be competative. He's one of the big reasons they are where they are.
