They did at that presser at least. Pyke said the song was played but it wasn’t on repeat Guantanamo style like has been reported

And he also said they were blindfolded but also made out to be way more than it was

You've had hamstring issues, what have you taken out of the program to try and alleviate the problem?

Daniel Talia mentioned upon returning from the end of season break that some players returned in an unsatisfactory condition, are any of these players in the group who suffered hamstring injuries?
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

Perfect. Should have been asked from the journos Boon.

For the hammy one, I think they have talked about loading up on strength training on the Thursday which they've now stopped doing.

I don't need any more questions answered.
It was a training camp to build resilience, get closer as a group and push the boundaries mentally and emotionally. Not every player liked it but they all took something out of it. Some things were done well and others not so.
Yes they were blindfolded for a bus ride but to the extend the media has reported.
Richmond song was played once but not on repeat like the media reported.
Players had access to phones if needed, they were just on them 24/7
An indigenous player was offended over a talking stick so the club and player seeked clarification and sorted it out.
Time to move on and focus on the footy.

Strength training on a Thursday should still not result in a load of hamstring injuries, especially if they were supervised sessions using correct techniques, working on muscle balance etc.

Being involved in the health and fitness industry if the Crows strength and conditioning department cant get the players through a Thursday strength session without further injuries than I would question what training or certification if any they have.

What? The report was Thursday before the game they were doing high loads specifically on the hamstrings.

I wasn't aware it was 'Heavy' loads, strength training done correctly shouldn't have an impact unless they were doing ridiculously high loads. (This is also dependent on when game day is, a heavy training session on Thursday shouldn't cause issues if a game is on a Sunday)

If there strength and conditioning coach is hold excessive weight classes on a Thursday before a Saturday game then that would almost be instant dismissal. A light functional, low weight high rep session on the other hand would actually be quite beneficial.
