1883?
I also remember 92 when Smiffies played at Lodge Oval and there would've been over 1000 people crammed into the joint, I think there 50 in the ute on the couch alone Won that one, lost at your joint and then went bang bang
That was probably on the roof of what was known as the staff car, an old valiant that had a frame rigged up to the roof, painted white with a big blue panther on the side.
Portland Football Club would like to invite all Past Players to our past players day on Round 10. June 16th. We will be celebrating our 2008 Div 4 Premiership on the day. Would be great to see as many old faces as the boys take on Westminster OS. If you have any more questions feel free to contact me. Thanks Fisty

@zedman used to have a nice relaxed smile on his face by about half time just from sitting in the away teams box thanks to the gentle southerly.

I remember being at a final at Smithfield, when a lady in the car took the handbrake off in her car and rolled down the hill and rolled over her husband

You’ll get an extra 2-3 hundred people if you advertise now that Luke Hosie will not be present
i remember playing a final at smithfield in 2007 and it was the best game of AFL i have ever played in as we won and it was a great team performance overall. Only to be beaten by Fitzroy the following week

Blackfriars or Plympton?
We we're still in div 6 then LM so would have been Plympton
