The missus and I were out for lunch on Sunday so we stopped in the store with our sad faces on saying we needed an invoice for good purchased in December for insurance purposes to which they happily printed one off immediately no questions asked.
Called them back on Tuesday to which they asked for photo's and an invoice sent through to them, sent them through and the sides have been replaced already, winning, I'm glad I acted wisely rather than losing my shit as I would've in the past.
Just got a new bed, old one was perfect for me by Mrs complained about sore back and it was the beds fault![]()
New one is like sleeping on top of park bench, Mrs loves it and back problems gone....I fkning hate it and am grumpy every day since the purchase.
We had similar when we merged houses, we both had pretty much new everything, all her stuff was classy but high maintenance, my stuff was sturdy, looked good and easy to keep clean etc.
We did rock/paper/scissors on lots of things and also cut deals, made promises and tried to be practical, in the end it was most of my stuff we sold but within a month or two it was "we should've kept yours".

The thousands ( literally ) that we spent on a new king ensemble about 12 months ago was the best money we've spent in ages.

A-ha...so that was the first prize for entering the Cricket Australia raffle! Just like the players I'll probably have to arm-wrestle James Sutherland just to get a bloody free ticket.

A Florida sheriff has been forced to urge residents not to shoot at Hurricane Irma.
Thousands of residents have seemingly pledged to unload on the Hurricane, which is currently hitting the state.
22-year-old Ryon Edwards started a Facebook event, titled 'Shoot At Hurricane Irma', perhaps thinking it could halt the storm, which is now twice as wide as the Florida peninsula.
"A combination of stress and boredom made me start the event," he told BBC.
"The response is a complete and total surprise to me...I never envisioned this event becoming some kind of crazy idea larger than myself. It has become something a little out of my control."
At the time of writing, 25,000 people have clicked going, with another 53,000 people interested.
The official Pasco County sheriff's Twitter had to clarify that this is not the right thing to do.
"To clarify, DO NOT shoot weapons @ #Irma," they wrote.
"You won't make it turn around & it will have very dangerous side effects."

Exactly, why make it angrier than it already is.

Re: Things that make you laugh
Kids, our kids get it pretty good when it comes to school lunches.
They get kabana, kransky, cheese and other nibbles chopped up, providing that they have their lunchbox available by the time they go to bed.
They were reminded 3 times last night to bring them down and still hadn't by the time I was cooking our lunch this morning, they acted like the world had ended when they got downstairs and were told to make their own, I bet they took nothing except chips and other crap.
