I couldn't care less about motor racing but Seven's stockpiling means that it stops the footy being screened live from interstate no matter where you are (cue the 12th Man's Murray Walker skit 'the cars just keep going round and round'). PS. What does the V8 motor racing rate?
Tennis is best shunted off to Fox Sports so nobody can find it (the pathetic sport that it is ... make it more lively by allowing sledging or even contact in the form of hip and shoulders between changeovers

) and the Olympics, well don't start me on the fact that 95% of it concentrates on 3 or 4 of the 30-odd sports (athletics, swimming, gymspastics and hockey) and is delayed to the point of insignificance (a lot of events were screened after the radio and TV announced the winners at Sydney in 2000 FFS!).
Seven are all talk and no action. They have the most boring commentary team by a mile - Bwucey is over the hill, Watson and Schwarz are yes men and Olarenshaw - what is his purpose, please?!? It smacks of budget television. They have to ensure the $780 million cost doesn't edge towards $781 million after adding the production costs! (Cue Sam Newman's 'steam camera' skit on the Footy Show!)
The highlight of my weekend viewing is when I see that Seven are using Foxtel footage on certain Sunday games (otherwise the telly goes off and the radio on). It means we get more cameras and better commentary. I pity Dennis for moving there and working the way he does now - I wish he was still doing the sport on Nine Perth.
