With decent covers you'd expect 1st and 2nd Grade to get a game. Scorers will need to brush up on their Duckworth Lewis calculations!

Is Duckworth Lewis used in Grade Cricket?

Gets tough at this time of the season for clubs with no teams in finals, coach moving on - difficult to keep fighting the good fight. You can run into teams at pretty low ebbs.

Next top score was 10 for that innings and 28 for the first

You would expect some changes to be made.

West Torrens vs Port Adelaide
Kensington vs Glenelg

Shield game Thur-Sun so no state players available

Yep, spot on. Four pretty even teams and anyone can win it from here. Will be on the day who gets thru to GF now!

Are the rules still the same with top placed team going through in the case of a draw? Handy to finish top.

Yes, rules the same. If wet weather or a draw then the top placed team goes thru.

So with Dalton getting picked by Redbacks, Kensy's batting looks bit more brittle. Having lost their Pom Hose who made over 500 runs at No.3, they look to be under the pump now. Might swing the game in Glenelg's favour. Will need Alex Ross to find some form, he cant make a run at the moment.

Other game looks very even, Port will not be easy. Batting is strong and if Ludeman gets going will be handy for them. West Torrens bowling been their strength all season so the match up is intriguing.

Not sure. He would be stiff to miss out. Rumour Sayers is carrying an injury, why he did not bowl in 2nd innings last week against NSW, maybe he misses?

Team of the Year?

Dalton a definite.

Conor McInerney has done well. Jacob Dick, especially early.

Brad Davis or Harry Nielsen as keeper?

Akash Patel has had a good season. Nick Winter 30 wicket at 15 must get in

Others?

Can't imagine Sayers would miss a must-win game for anything.

I can see us dropping Zampa though if it's another Incredible Hulk pitch at Bellerive.

Based on Stats, so every other year top bowlers and batters make it.

Therefore, will be close to this:

Jonathon Dalton (Kens)
Connor McInerney (Wood)
Jacob Dick (Sturt)
Mark Cosgrove (Northern)
Ben Bullimore (Glen)
Harry Nielsen (Wood)
Daniel Drew (WT)
Adam Somerfield (TTG)
Nick Winter (Uni)
Phil Neate (Adel)
Ben Williams (WT)
Akash Patel (Glen)

Be a few hard luck stories, or couple of close calls also no doubt.

Pretty close, but that side misses the all rounder that gets picked. Hudson-Prentice should be a lock for that spot, 17 wickets and almost 600 runs. Comes in for Williams. Hard to knock out the leading wicket taker in the top side, but he did take almost half his wickets in one game. Spencer Johnson only has 5 or so less wickets and has been much more consistent, and that's just looking at guys in his own team!

Keeper will also be the winner of the CW Walker. Davis slights more runs, Nielson a few more dismissals, votes won't be for Iron Gloves Nielson despite his batting improving.

Bit of a shame that Torrens play Port in the semi, how much of a slap in the face would it have been if they both made the GF?

Good call on Hudson-Prentice, thought him and Jake Brown were the two unlucky ones. Went for Somerfield and Drew as my all rounders. Won't pick pace bowlers who are seven wickets behind other guys, not the way they pick the team. Some CW Walker winners lately have been strange, still think Harry makes it.

Didn't they botch the votes last year and award the CW Walker to the wrong keeper?
